Wanda Neppell-Owner

  • WRP Fitness has been owned and operated by Wanda Neppell for over 30 years.  As a “hands on” owner, Wanda  prides herself in exceeding her members’ expectations.  Members appreciate her attention to detail, cleanliness of the facility and providing the latest in equipment and group fitness.   
  • A local resident and active in the community, Wanda has been recognized by many organizations for her efforts in community projects and fund raising.  WRP Fitness is a long-standing business member of many organizations: IHRSA (International Health, Racquetball & Sports Association, IDEA Health & Fitness Association, Club Business International, Chamber of Commerce of Shirley and the Mastics,Chamber of Commerce of the Moriches, Manorville Chamber of Commerce, B2B Networking Group.  
  • ​Wanda’s strong passion for providing fitness information and education to all group fitness instructors and personal trainers has lead to WRP Fitness being chosen by AFAA (American Fitness) as the host site for most of their educational seminars and certifications. AFAA Personal Trainer, AFAA Weight Training, AFAA Step, AFAA Kickbox, AFAA Primary Group Fitness & ACE are some of the extensive certifications Wanda holds.  As a continuing education provider and testing examiner for AFAA, she instructs workshops for group fitness instructors all over Long Island and Florida.  
  • ​Wanda, along with her Manager, Bruce Bentley (20 years experience), and staff, pride themselves in hiring “the best of the best” staff, personal trainers and group fitness instructors. 


Bruce Bentley-Manager


  • Bruce Bentley has been part of the WRP Fitness family since 1999 and has been running the club since 2006.
  • As a local resident and active participant in the community, Bruce always tries to give back as much as he can while raising two young girls. He is a board member of The Manorville Chamber of Commerce and a varsity football coach for the Eastport South Manor School District.
